Use these steps to verify a job, contract expert opportunity, recruiter, message, or website before sharing personal information or beginning work.
Four checks to complete

Identify the opportunity
Employee roles should connect to the AfterQuery Careers page. Contract expert opportunities should connect to experts.afterquery.com.

Inspect every link
Read the complete destination address before signing in or entering personal information. A familiar logo or page design is not proof that a website is official.

Confirm the sender
Send the recruiter name, message, role, and destination URL to support@afterquery.com when a communication is unexpected or does not match an official pathway.

Review the written terms
Confirm the scope, rate, eligibility requirements, review process, and payment schedule in the official platform or agreement before beginning work.
Warning signs of impersonation
- Requests for an application or placement fee
- Requests for cryptocurrency, gift cards, or money transfers
- Instructions to buy equipment or deposit and forward a check
- Requests for passwords or authentication codes
- Pressure to move immediately to an unrelated website or messaging service
- Terms in a message that conflict with the official platform or agreement
