Become the face of AfterQuery at your school.

AfterQuery pays students and professionals for the one thing AI models can’t do: think like an expert in a real field. We hire one student per campus to bring in the best people at their school.

Backed by angels from

Powering every frontier AI research lab

Why AfterQuery

Every frontier AI lab works with us.

AfterQuery is an applied research lab, and we pay people for what they actually know in their own field. Our founding team left Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Jane Street, Palantir, NVIDIA, and Google to build it, and we’re backed by angels from the frontier labs themselves. As an ambassador you’d be the first person on your campus inside one of the defining companies of this generation.

You get a personal referral link, unique to you. Anyone who signs up through it is credited to you.

Earn as your referrals come through

Every person who signs up through your link and completes a project pays out $20.

What you get

$20 per activated expert

Trip to San Francisco

Every ambassador shows up on a public leaderboard. At the end of the semester, the top three contributors get flown out to San Francisco for lunch with our founders.

Events budget every semester

A semesterly budget to host events on campus: food, space, or swag. Spend it however you like, with prior approval.

Questions

Who can apply?

Any current undergraduate, master’s, or PhD student with a university email address. We care much more about how plugged in you are on campus than about the length of your resume.

How many ambassadors do you take per school?

One. Every campus gets a single ambassador, so the first strong application from your university has a real advantage.

How much time does it take?

A few hours a week. Most of it is talking to people you already know, plus an event or two over the course of a semester.

How do I get paid?

You earn $20 in cash for every expert who signs up through your link and activates, with no cap on how many you refer. On top of that you get a $250 events budget each semester. There is no salary or hourly rate.

What counts as an activated expert?

Someone who signed up through your link and has completed a project on the platform. Signing up alone doesn’t count. The reward is paid once they’ve finished their first piece of work.

How does the San Francisco trip work?

Every ambassador appears on a public leaderboard. At the end of the semester we fly the top three contributors to San Francisco for lunch with our founders.

When will I hear back?

We review applications as they arrive, and applications submitted before September 15, 2026 get priority review. If we pick your campus, we email you at the university address you applied with.
